Excursion-lecture in vocational guidance work with schoolchildren on the example of Vladivostok

Abstract

Currently, in the context of the formation of the modern labor market and the most changed model of a school graduate, the requirements for career guidance work and the search of new formats are also increasing. Among the wide variety of career guidance methods and
forms, a special place is occupied by the use of guided tours, including excursions-lectures with interactive format. The aim of the study is to develop the methodological foundations for conducting an excursion-lecture as part of career guidance and testing the excursion-lecture pro-
gram with an interactive approach in the context of interaction between municipal services and educational institutions in Vladivostok. The tasks are to determine the professional interests of adolescents, to get them acquainted with the key principles of choosing some profession and to test the program of a career-guidance excursion-lecture at schools in Vladivostok. Methodology of work:the article uses excursion methods of career guidance activities using an interactive approach, methods of systematization, classification, sociology, and a classification scheme for school career guidance methods is drawn up. In the course of the work, a passport for the program of career guidance ex-
cursion-lectures was drawn up with the key characteristics of career guidance activities, the target group, the expected results of the program implementation and the timing of implementation. Article results: the scientific novelty of the work is the author's definition of an excursion-lecture in the context of conducting career guidance "live lessons", an updated classification of career guidance methods for schoolchildren, as well as a methodological approach to conducting a career-guidance excursion-lecture aimed at forming a child’s labor motivation. The practical result of the work is integration of the excursion-lecture program into the career guidance work at schools in Vladivostok
with the analysis and evaluation of feedback.
